Time Tracking for Hourly Contracts

Track Your Hours Accurately

For hourly contracts, MonkeysWorks includes built-in time tracking.

Starting the Timer

  1. Go to your active hourly contract
  2. Click the "Start Timer" button
  3. Add a description of what you're working on
  4. The timer runs in the background β€” you can navigate away
  5. Click "Stop" when you finish a session

Manual Time Entry

You can also add time entries manually for work done offline. Go to the contract and click "Add Time Entry", then enter the date, hours, and description.

Weekly Invoicing

Hourly contracts are invoiced weekly. At the end of each week:

  • A summary of logged hours is generated
  • The client reviews and approves the hours
  • Payment is processed automatically
