Approving Milestones & Releasing Payment

Review, Approve, Pay

Each milestone follows a simple review and approval process.

When a Milestone is Submitted

You'll receive a notification when the freelancer submits a milestone. Go to Dashboard → Contracts → [Your Contract] to review.

Reviewing Deliverables

• View submitted files, links, and descriptions
• Test functionality if applicable
• Compare against the agreed scope

Your Options

• Approve — Releases the escrow payment to the freelancer
• Request Revision — Send feedback and ask for changes (the milestone stays open)
• Dispute — If you believe the work doesn't meet the agreed requirements

After Approval

Payment is released instantly. The next milestone (if any) becomes active, and you can fund it to continue the project.
