How to Post a Job

Post Your First Job

Posting a job on MonkeysWorks is free and only takes a few minutes.

Step 1: Click "Post a Job"

From your dashboard, click the "Post a Job" button in the top navigation or sidebar.

Step 2: Describe Your Project

• Title — A clear, descriptive title (e.g., "Build a React Dashboard for SaaS App")
• Description — Detailed requirements, deliverables, and expectations
• Category — Select the relevant skill category
• Skills Required — Add specific skills needed (e.g., React, TypeScript, Figma)

Step 3: Set Budget & Timeline

• Fixed Price — Set a total budget for the project
• Hourly Rate — Define an hourly rate range and estimated hours
• Timeline — Set your desired start date and deadline

Step 4: AI Scope Assistant

Our AI will analyze your job description and suggest:

• Milestone breakdown for the project
• Budget recommendations based on market rates
• Skills you may want to add

Step 5: Publish

Review your listing and click "Publish Job". You'll start receiving proposals within hours.
